We launched Jobr for iOS 2 months ago with a mission to make exploring your career simple, enjoyable, and educational. Turns out we aren't the only ones who think that finding the right job sucks.
For starters, we've been overwhelmed by the adoption of Jobr. We've seen 3 MILLION swipes since launch. This is especially exciting for us because our matching algorithms learn with every swipe, so we are continually improving relevancy for candidates and recruiters alike.
Additionally, we’ve had over 1,000 recruiters from top companies sign up to connect with talent on Jobr. We've been working hard to improve recruiters' experience on mobile, and with our latest update, we added the ability to filter candidates. Today, we are launching a new, web-based platform for recruiters at https://recruiter.jobrapp.com, and they can now browse and connect with candidates from their computer and on the go.
To help us achieve our mission, we thought we could use some help. We are proud to announce that we closed an oversubscribed $2M round of funding from some really impressive investors: Lerer Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Eniac Ventures, Lowercase Capital, The Hive, Tekton Ventures, Structure Capital, Tim Draper, Fabrice Grinda, and a few individuals. Additionally, Ellen Levy will be personally investing in Jobr and joining us an advisor. In the past, she has taken advisory roles in several professional-focused companies including LinkedIn, RelateIQ, and Newsle. We're excited to welcome everyone into the Jobr family and look forward to working with such an accomplished group.
Thanks for all the support & Happy Swiping!
